Heide Madden started the Farmers’ and Gardeners’ Guild growing space on Bainbridge Island. Members of the guild determine what grows there and how to manage it.

Join a field trip on August 23 from 10 to 11 a.m. sponsored by Veg Club and the BP Food Resilience Team to see their chickens, high-tunnel, and unusual varieties of vegetables and projects. Learn about their collective structure and no-till methods. You can join the Guild too.
