On October 5th, a sunny day, more than 150 south end Islanders gathered at their Disaster Hub—Fort Ward Community Hall—to tour the Hub, talk preparedness, and connect with one another. In attendance were BP Executive Director Dominique Cantwell, Program Director Pascal Shuback, founder Scott James, and Fire Chief Jared Moravec along with some Fire Dept. crew and engines.
