Believe It or Not, It’s Time to Think About the Winter Garden

What? We haven’t even finished Junuary yet!

But it’s true. You can plant some winter crops as early as July 1.

Food holds so well in the winter garden that it's like a refrigerator in which produce never goes bad. If you have no room to plant more crops right now, plant in starter pots and transplant them when your garlic, onions, and peas come out.

Learn exactly when and how to plant for fall and winter in Bainbridge Prepares’ Veg Club video. Then turn to our Winter Crop Resource Page, which includes a great winter-specific planting calendar.
