BP Drones Support BIFD at Bloedel Reserve Prescribed Burn
On Monday, August 25, four volunteers with the Bainbridge Prepares’ TechOps team deployed advanced drone and communications technologies to assist a joint wildfire training burn at the Bloedel Reserve.

BP Supports Trillium Run
The annual Trillium Run, which happened May 11, takes runners from Battle Point Park, up the Forest to Sky Trail, through the Grand Forest, and finally to Hilltop Meadow. The event, hosted by the Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation, was supported in part by Bainbridge Prepares volunteers.
Bainbridge Prepares Supports Water Rescue with Drone
On Monday morning, March 25, the Bainbridge Island Fire Department (BIFD) asked the Bainbridge Prepares Technical Operations Team (TechOps) for support in responding to a water rescue. A boat was in distress on South Beach Drive, and BIFD wanted TechOps to provide drone observation of the boat.
