Hubs Open House Is NOT a Disaster: Photo Gallery

Two people talking at Disaster Hub Open House

The idea was for people to visit a Disaster Hub and talk to the people who know how to prepare: Bainbridge Prepares staff and volunteers. And that’s what happened. More than 120 visitors passed through the Bethany Lutheran Open House between 2 and 4 pm on June 7.

They learned about communications technology, how to store an emergency food and water supply, the Map Your Neighborhood Program, the Child Reunification plan, fire safety, and what services to expect at a Disaster Hub.

Visitors also got a peek inside a Disaster Hub supplies trailer that was set up for viewing in the church parking lot.
