Don’t Be Scared . . . Be Prepared! Movie Night

This Thursday, October 30, Lynwood Theatre is hosting a special screening of three scary movies in partnership with Bainbridge Prepares. The theme of the night is that there are scary events in life, but preparation can help you deal with them.

For example, when Cindy hears the zombie break into her house in the middle of the night, she doesn’t need to walk down the stairs barefoot in the dark because she has under-the-bed supplies that include sturdy shoes, a hard hat, gloves, and a flashlight. Good job, Cindy! Don’t get eaten by the zombie.

The three movies are

• Anemone at 4 p.m.

• Blair Witch Project at 6:30 p.m., preceded by an introduction given by filmmaker Dan Myrick

• Beetlejuice at 7:45 p.m. preceded by a Bainbridge Prepares introduction
