About That Extra Long and Partly Outdated Newsletter . . .

Friday, if you are a daily subscriber to Bainbridge Prepares, you received a long newsletter with some old posts. Rest assured that we’re not losing our grip.

This is what happened: Our RSS feed suddenly found disfavor at MailChimp, which sends out our new articles automatically to subscribers. A number of us took turns following their instructions to fix the problem to no avail. After several months and email exchanges with MailChimp, during which none of our readers got automatic updates from our blog, we found the magic fix.

But after that, the auto send was still not working because there was yet another secret place where the once favorable feed had to be replaced. That problem was fixed Friday night before 5, instantly triggering auto send, meaning that all the articles that had failed to go out over the last few months suddenly did.

The good news is that henceforth our feed should be operating normally.
