BIGWEELS, an acronym for Bainbridge Islanders Getting Workers Everywhere in Emergencies and Lots of Snow, is a volunteer group committed to serving the community during adverse weather conditions and challenging road situations.
Whether you need transportation to your doctor's office, to the ferry, or require assistance towing your vehicle out of a ditch or snowbank, the BIGWEELS team is ready to help.

In cases where their services are required, the City makes an announcement on its website and social media platforms, at which point individuals in need can submit a service request using a designated Google Form.
