Mission and Community Impact:

The WASH Team aims to equip island residents with the knowledge and resources required for efficient water storage and sanitation in the face of an island-isolating emergency. They teach residents to optimize resources by applying insights from both governmental agencies and reliable private sources. The mission encompasses:

  • Educating residents about the recommended quantity of emergency fresh water stocks.

  • Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of practical water storage plans.

  • Guiding the sourcing of water storage containers and related support items.

  • Ensuring the safe and economical storage of water for emergency use.

Their efforts underscore the importance of water readiness and underline a strong commitment to community wellbeing.
