One of the best things you can do to increase your emergency readiness is to take a class such as Stop the Bleed, CPR/AED, ham radio, Wilderness First Aid, or Wilderness First Response.

BASIC

  • Take a CPR/AED class so you can save a life.

  • Take a Stop the Bleed class.

  • Take a First Aid class.

  • Learn about household hazards.

ADVANCED

  • Learn about utility safety.

  • Learn how to use a fire extinguisher.

  • Learn about residential wells in disasters.

PRO

  • Take a Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder Course.

  • Get trained and certified in using amateur (ham) radio.
