South End Getting Ready Together
Due to recent road construction closures and detours, the entire Bainbridge community is now well aware of how the South End of Bainbridge Island is its own little island on a bigger island. That’s why the South End is throwing its own emergency preparedness party.
South End Ready Together happens October 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fort Ward Community Hall, 9705 NE Evergreen Avenue.
The event will feature speakers, information tables, and door prizes. Come meet your neighbors and learn more about
The need for community resilience
How Bainbridge Prepares facilitates it
The progress we’ve made on the South End
Our new Fort Ward Disaster Hub
Listen to what our speakers have to say:
Dominique Cantwell, Bainbridge Prepares Executive Director
Scott James, Bainbridge Prepares Founder
Jared Moravec, Bainbridge Island Fire Chief
The event has been designed so you can drop by any time between 2 and 4. The speakers will talk at 2:30 p.m. and again at 3:15 p.m.
We will have door prizes, demo tables, and our new hoody and T-shirt on sale.
Join us for a day of learning and community resilience. See you there!
