Bainbridge Prepares is hiring! After 15 years of wrangling volunteers through our partnership ( a-special shout out to City of Bainbridge Island Emergency Manager Anne LeSage), we’ve decided it’s time to designate an official person to do that.

The official title of the position is Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. Here’s the lowdown on the job:

• Hours: Part-time—about 20 hours per week

• Type: Hybrid—includes some evenings and weekends

• Hourly rate: $27–$32, plus paid time off and holiday pay

• Skills needed: You’ll be meeting lots of people and doing spreadsheet work. The job consists largely of making sure our volunteers are credentialed, background checked, trained, and properly certified.
